I booked the hotel thinking I was on the hotel website and realized after I booked it wasn't and 5 minutes later I tried to cancel and reservation counter wouldn't let me. Non refundable and I would lose all my money.
Not only that but I found out AFTER I paid the extra fees they charged. I wound up paying $113.00 extra for a 3 night stay. They gave me the $9.99 charge back but I am filing a complaint with my credit card company for the rest. I learned from this and from now on I am calling the hotel directly to make sure I am dealing with the hotel themselves and not reservation counter.
This happened on April 4th on the website for the Country Inn Suites in Rock Hill, SC I did contact them about this and they wouldn't budge. The only amount I got back was the $9.99.
Reason of review: Pricing issue.
Monetary Loss: $113.
Preferred solution: Price reduction.
